Beechcraft / 2023 10 20/

Manufactured in the aviation hub of Wichita, Kanzas, and with maintenance and support locations worldwide, the aircraft brand BEECHCRAFT traces its roots to the pioneers of aviation. Throughout its history, this brand of products has been known for quality, reliability, and value.
In 1932, Walter H. Beech left an executive position with Curtiss-Wright Corporation to start designing and manufacturing airplanes in Wichita, Kanzas, with his wife and business partner, Olive Ann Beech. Their plan was to build the “finest aircraft in the world” and changed the course of general aviation.
It started with the 200 miles-per-hour Beechcraft Model 17 biplane known as the Staggerwing, hundreds of which were sold to civilians and the US military and made the Beechs’ vision come to life. Their philosophy of maintaining quality, advanced technology, customer satisfaction, and business integrity remains unchanged.
The team created several other notable aircraft before Walter died in 1950, including the Beechcraft BONANZA piston - the longest continually produced aircraft in the world. Walter’s death didn’t stop the company as Olive Ann became president and CEO until the Raytheon Company purchased it in 1980.

Company Termikas has repaired a few models of Beechcraft planes. One of them is the Model 17 Staggerwing Red Rockette, a biplane with a unique negative wing stagger that made its first flight in 1932. Another model we have worked on is the Model 23 "Musketeer" - a light aircraft with a low-wing design. This model was introduced in 1963, featuring a Lycoming O-320-D2B engine with 160 bhp at an initial price of $13,300.

Our latest project was the Beechcraft C33 Debonair.
The Beechcraft Bonanza was introduced in 1947. The six-seater, single-engined aircraft is still being produced by Beechcraft and has been in continuous production longer than any other aircraft in history. More than 17,000 Bonanzas of all variants have been built, produced in both distinctive V-tail and conventional tail configurations; early conventional-tail versions were marketed as the Debonair.

The State Aviation Administration of Ukraine has issued a new approval of our certificates / 2023 09 12 /

Representatives from the State Aviation Administration of Ukraine at Termikas / 2023 06 17 /

On June 12-14, representatives from the State Aviation Administration of Ukraine visited our company.

Our cooperation with Ukrainian aviators began in 1995 when we started repairing the aircraft for the Kyiv Central Aero Club. We have worked with various aviation clubs, Defence Support Society of Ukraine (OSOU), the National Aviation University of Ukraine, the Aerospace Institute, and private pilots for many years since then.
In 2016, as Ukraine integrated into the European aviation safety structures, our EASA Part 145 certificate was recognized by Ukraine in the general aviation field.

During the recent visit, we saw the differences and became more familiar with the needs and regulations of Ukraine in this challenging period.
Both sides believe this will help Termikas to work with Ukrainian registered aircraft and the State Aviation Administration of Ukraine to integrate more quickly into EASA's General and Experimental aviation.

30 years with George Coy / 2023 02 10/

Year 1993. An-2 Lithuania, Pociūnai.
30 years ago, American aviator George Coy flew the first Cessna to Lithuania. After a dangerous adventure over the ocean, he returned to America piloting an An-2.

Year 2006. Yak-12 "Hydra", Lithuania, Pociūnai.
George is back in Lithuania. He is now inspecting the Yak-12 Hydra aircraft and conducting test flights. Termikas has modified the power plant of this aircraft, and manufactured the original floats with retractable landing gear.

Year 2023. An-2, United States, Vermont.
George invited us to help him refurbish an An-2 aircraft in the United States. Nice to see you again George. We hope that our cooperation will continue for a long time to come.
